My birth name is Neil G. St. C. Hamilton, call me Champion.
No it's not a title or a nickname, it's the meaning of my first name.
However, it's been said that I live up to it. My birth name is reserved for family, legal use and billing information.

My focuses are ingenuity, integrity, originality and respect. I passively toyed with photography from when I was a pre-teen. In about 2002 I officially shifted my title from Digital Design Artist to Digital Photographer. I'm a Writer, previously a PC tech, and consultant among other things. I always seek to improve myself. Not your typical photographer.

My Views: "Anyone can take a picture, an artist captures the moment." This means waiting for the right moment and searching for different perspectives. Constantly thinking about "the rules of photography" can limit the chances you'll take to get great shots. A picture says something about the subject and the photographer so both should be represented well. I don't have an "it's all about the money" mentality so I won't say yes to everything.

Many would call me a "minimalist" photographer. I prefer using natural or available light with minor adjustments and a hot shoed fill flash. My preferred style are candid's and casual shots. I'd rather talk and be natural while capturing the mood and expression of each moment. Regardless of my preferences I am not unwilling to adjust accordingly per request.
